Paper- II will only be of qualifying nature and is intended to test elementary language skills of the Candidate
Paper-II will be held only for those candidates who meet the cut-off prescribed by the Commission in Paper I for different categories.

The SSC MTS Paper- I will consist of four sections: Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Aptitude and General Awareness.
The total marks for Paper- I will be 100 and the time duration will be of 90 minutes.
There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
